The Wellbeing Collaborative
Working together to develop resilience in ourselves and our community.
Resilience isn't one thing. You can't do a bit of mindfulness or gratitude and have it all together. In fact, even with all I know I still don't think I have it all together. Life is an ongoing series of lessons. You never stop learning and with each lesson life is just a little bit better.
About me...
Experience
I started my career as a primary teacher and then retrained as a psychologist. I have worked in the government, private, Catholic, and Independent sectors as a teacher, lecturer, and psychologist. This has provided me with both the practical understanding and research to support wellbeing.
I have featured on television (The Project, Channel 9, ABC news) and radio (ABC, Triple J). I am also a frequent contributor in print media.
My PhD was in resilience in young people, and I am motivated to support people in putting effective systems in place to support their wellbeing.
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Education (Primary)
Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Psychology
Masters/PhD in Psychology
